The Data Entry Assistant will work under the supervision of the Project Manager and provide accurate and timely data scoring and entry into the First 5 database (CMEDS) all outcome data associated with the project grants. The Data Entry Assistant will also provide administrative support to the Project Manager and Project Director in administrating the grants.

Position Reports to: Project Manager and Project Director

  • Administrative support to the Project Manager for the management of data.
  • Creates & sends form letters associated with grants
  • Scores all outcome measures
  • Processes referrals, updates data in CMEDS, and liaisons with grant Care Coordinators
  • Enters all pre-test and post-test outcome data for the grants into CMEDS and NCAR excels
  • Creates clinical and master files and documents Outcome Checklist on both
  • Ensures all packets are created for Project Manager’s clinical intakes
  • Other admin duties as assigned; will involve phone contact with grant leads; may involve some scheduling with clients
  • Knowledge and experience with data entry
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; must have basic computer skills
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented in data scoring, data entry, record keeping, and filing
  • Prior experience with CMEDS preferred

BA in related field; BA in Child Development and/or Psychology preferred; bilingual in Spanish preferred

$12 to $13 per hour depending upon qualifications for 8 to 10 hours a week

  • Must be able to work with a clinical team; must be able to work independently
  • Must insure confidentiality of all clinical files
  • Will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement if hired
  • Must have fingerprint clearance from the State of California DOJ
